I referred to NetZero as a "shell"... It does have a dialer, but not one you can use for another account, (except with another from them). I thought Neoplanet was just an enhanced(?) "skin" for MSIE. If that is true, the dialer should be under there somewhere(?) Maybe(?) the uninstall of EarthLink took it out. In any event, you need to go looking for it. I just used find to search my hard drive. I used " dial-up " in the named box and searched only "C". This DUN stuff can look different depending on your level of "Patches", (Dun 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4), and your OS... Generally, I find a "folder" on my desktop or an Icon in Control Panel or Explorer or "My Computer" named Dial-up Networking. It can be any or all of those places. DUN is integrated into Explorer.exe as a "switch" so you will not find a file for it, only shortcuts... (Most of the shortcuts will not even lead to explorer.exe. and the machine specific ID switch...) If you can not find any of that, get back to the list... In Dial-up Networking there is an Icon for "Make New Connection". (This is "REALLY" integrated and will NOT show up in a search at all...) This is where I set up my plain vanilla ISPs and certain "global" settings for connectivity... (Retries, blocking Auto connect...) Area code properties and some dialing stuff is accessible from here too... Hope this helps you look for and find what you need... You may need to install DUN if you determine it is missing. NetZero requires it, so I think it is "in there" somewhere. Note that when you need to use more than one ISP you have to adjust certain settings to allow control from the different DUN connections. Some of the instructions I have gotten from ISPs in the past were based on the fact that they were "hoping(?) they were the only one I was using... It has a benefit to them of being easier for them, and makes it a little harder to switch or have two ISPs. This has to do with the Control Panel, Network, Configuration, TCP/IP Properties. Certain settings in there must compliment the TCP/IP settings from the DUN connectoid settings. In this case, the connectoids are set up with control of the numbering. (Not the more "global" settings in Network as above...) This is sort of interlocking settings and a "control" issue... I can't explain it too well, but it works for me as long as I know which section to give the control of the DSN numbers... (The individual connectoids.)
