I see that Pavel Tsatsouline (the kettle bell guy mentioned earlier on the list) has a book Relax into Stretch. Is this a book ordinary folks could benefit from, or does one have to be initiated into a secret cult of stretching in order to use its information?

The blurb I read makes it seem extremely esoteric and analytical--slightly offputting. The pictures reminded me of some Steven Segal (or Jean Claude Van Damme? or both?) movie where the hero is getting a good leg stretch by being suspended between trees or posts or something, and folks are slowly pulling on ropes tied to his ankles. He goes into the scene 5'6" and comes out 6'7" tall. :-)

Anyway, one reason I started excercising several months ago was because I am so not flexible, and despite a variety of exercises and stretches, I'd say it's only three days out of seven that I actually feel flexible.
