John, Try Rory Brennan, a fabulous plasterer who works with David Flaharty, up in the north woods near you (Putney, VT, actually): [log in to unmask] For the benefit of the English sticklers (as opposed to the French ticklers) among us, Rory works all over the place, sometimes with DF, but lives in VT. Let the rest of us know where to get them, if you find out, too; Rory may or may not have them, but will probably be able to tell you where to get 'em. I've saved a few 3/4 round turned wooden Victorian/early 20th C corner guards here and there; I think Renovators Supply carries them, too, but it sounds like you want something different. For what it's worth, my (late 80's) house was built with 1" to 1.5" radius plaster corners, which it seems to me were laid over a drawknife-rounded, then scarified corner stud (probably a 4x4, as I think about it); the corners have held up well, but I'm not sure why. How old is the house for which you need wooden beads? Ralph
