Just returned from Bermuda where the roofs, which are catch points for the water cisterns below the houses, are lime washed every 2 yrs or so, evidently as a disinfectant -it doesn't seem to harm the goldfish some folks keep down in the cistern....
should have asked for the recipe..
Talk about a place where form follows function-
cookie cutter shoe boxes, tiny houses w/out enough ornamentation to
call for the use of trim paint-
but they hang in there during hurricanes..
a lot of patching of coral walls going on & I was wondering
what type of mortar they are using- watched guys cutting stone w/ a crosscut
hand saw.
