Hi Jim, First, in Modems in the control panel, there is a slider under the properities that you can move to the far left. Then under Dial Up Networking in My Computer, find your modem there and do the same. I have no idea why, but I remember that when I ran 95 it required muting in both places to be effective. My daughter's puter is outrageously loud when connecting and it's really getting on my nerves. If I recall there were two seperate adjustments to make because Ive already lowered the modem volume to 0 and it's still extremely noisy. She is running win95 by the way. Anyone remember the post? Thanks in advance. Jim ===== Jim __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
