The connection of the muscles to the bones, and bone structure is the
reason for the strength of gorillas and chimps compared to humans. Any
good book on comparative primate physiology will confirm it. Nutrition
has nothing to do with it [other than if you are ill you are going to be
weaker than the others of your particular species.]

on the other hand, I am healthier as a carnivore than as a
fructarian/vegetarian. My health problems stem from a broken back, not
my diet ;-)
