I pretty much could "echo" what everyone else has been saying, with the following additions... No one mentioned that an LS-120 is not "happy" with Windows 95(original) or "A - (SP1)"... It requires different drivers and a different installation entirely, (from the software standpoint.) It is also not "happy" unless your BIOS will fully support it. To get the full use and functionality out of it, the above two things must be taken into consideration. These two "things to look for" are the very reason they never captured the market share they truly deserved... As you can guess, I was an early adopter, and had all the "older problems" that gave these drives a bad name when they first came out. They still have a "minor" drawback - unresolved... They recommend you do NOT format 1.44m floppies on these drives. They say to do that on an "actual" floppy drive, (A "true" 1.44m floppy drive...) I have a couple of them, and around four Zip Drives... All work great... BUT, for the record, a floppy drive and a CD-RW drive makes more sense these days... But that is a story for another time... <G> Rick Glazier PCBUILD's List Owner's: Bob Wright<[log in to unmask]> Drew Dunn<[log in to unmask]>
