I've only ever worked with Toshibas and i don't know if this is relevant, but Toshiba's have two different PC Card Modes. PCIC or Card Bus. Most new ones have a simeltaneous option, but if yours was set to Cardbus it could be a problem. cheers, Adam > -----Original Message----- > From: Ron Bain [SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2001 12:56 AM > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: [PCBUILD] pcmcia modem not accessible when installed > > I have a Innova360CD Cannon laptop with two pcmcia slots running with > windows 95. > > I have a megahertz-dell xj4336 modem (pcmcia card). > > Double clicking on the modem icon on the control panel the modem is > properly > identified.
