Good to see you are persuing your education in an appropriate environment, far away from the downer of Southfield. Good people there (LTU), but not much depth in preservation.
When you return to Michigan, stop in our office. QEA does 95% preservation work, and we have a diverse group, maybe not as funny as the rest of the BP roster, but we enjoy the "conversation".

Greetings & Salutations,
My name is Nate Gillette, I've been a member of the Preservation-L list
for some time but traffic over there has all but stopped. So, In the
search for more stimulation conversation I ran across this list.
I am an Intern Architect in Savannah, Georgia finishing up my Master's
of Architecture at SCAD. Previously I received a Bachelor of Science in
Architecture from LTU in Detroit Mich. I work for a small architecture
firm here in Savannah that specializes in HP work. HP accounts for
about 40% of our firms total work.
Currently I am working on my Master's Thesis project regarding
contemporary architecture in historical environments.
I look forward to conversing with all of you.
Nate Gillette
