I e-mailed Hebrew National about the GF issue on the hot dogs. I
noticed that they no longer listed hydrolized wheat gluten on the last
pack I picked up. Here is part of the response:

Thank you for contacting Hebrew National Kosher Foods regarding our
products.

Our Hebrew National Kosher Beef Franks, our 97% Fat Free, Reduced Fat
Beef Franks, Beef Bologna and Beef Salami contain Hydrolyzed Soy Protein
and our Beef Polish Sausage contains Hydrolyzed Corn Protein.

There is no wheat, oats, rye or barley in any of our Hebrew National
products.

During our Kosher for Passover Production we eliminate Mustard
as well as all Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein which includes soy and corn.
We are not required by law to change our Ingredients Listing but only to
mark our packaging, "Kosher for Passover". Passover products will be
available in the stores around mid-April.

We do produce some products that do not contain any gluten, such as:

        All Turkey and sliced Turkey
        All Corned Beef
        All Tongue (cooked, pickled, uncooked)

The Modified Food Starch in our products is from a source of Corn or
Potato. Modified Potato Starch is listed as such on our ingredient
statement, any other starch used in our products would be Corn.
