Assuming: 1. You have enough hard drive space. 2. You have a copy of Win98 on a CD. 3. Access to another PC with cd-rom drive 4. Bootable Win98 floppy You can either hook up direct (parallel to parallel) or (serial to serial) and transfer the contents of the cd to the laptops hard drive, or zip and span the contents to floppies and then unzip on laptop. Once you have the contents of the cd on the laptop boot with floppy Run setup from where ever you put the contents of the cd.
