Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get an older Shuttle HOT-569 mobo to accept PC-100 RAM? Currently, I have 3 sticks of 32 meg each of PC-66 in there. I have a stick of 64 meg PC-100 that I would like to put in there. But, every time it boots, it gets a different memory size reading and then usually locks up immediately after post. I know that slot 3 cannot be used when using a 64 meg stick with 16 chips on it. But I think a BIOS setting needs to be changed to get the PC-100 to work. Also, if anyone knows of a place that buys or trades RAM, email me. Thanks! David Ray ps - the PC-100 RAM is probably 70ns, yes? ------------------------------------------------------ Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats. -- H.L.
