Where (city, country) is the department store located? Was it a flagship store or a branch? Know who the architect was? Style? Are the windows original to the building? I thought that aluminum wasn't used as a building material until post WWII. If constructed in 1938, your building would been a very early use of aluminum, at least in a department store.
