I noted the mention that Phil Katz died last year - does anyone have information on when and how this happened? I am a bit of a computer history buff and want to chronicle this event. If the comment below is true, then it sounds similar to what happened to Gary Kildal who authored CP/M. There are several free programs that will perform UNZIP functions. But the best solution I know of is the ZIP/UNZIP capability that comes with the free version of PowerDesk.
