If her network card is still installed in the pc, goto the Network control
panels, and then TCP/IP for that card. Remove and entrys under gateway, and
then reboot the computer. That should clear up the problem. She will have to
renter those values when she returns to the university.

This is a problem my daughter has.  At one time she was connected to the
Internet via her University's network.  Now she is no longer connected this
way and is using a dial-up connection to the Internet.  She cannot access
