Comrade, I have been away for several weeks and thus have not been keeping up with the postings on the L, including Mr. Glynn's business proposal. I really find it hard, however, to appreciate the "problem" from what I could glean from the exchanges on this particular topic. This aside, a screwd investor would have taken all the factors into account, including risk exposure. Mr. Glynn has posted his account of his first visit to The Gambia which I find to be a genuine impression of the country from his vantage point; very similar to the accounts of Ginny's Gambian experience. Most importantly, Mr. Glynn is prepared to take the risks, as perceived and/or calculated by him, in conducting business in The Gambia. Please allow him to excercise his freedom to conduct his business under the prevailing private sector conditions.
