Tnanks for the dialog on a my basic meat intake. To be a bit more accurate, the daily average of beef/pork/chicken has been more like 1.2 lbs each -- just some days one or more may be 1.5. In any case it would just adjust figs down 20%. It is something to think about -- like subing fish for one or the meat items (same amount) altering. I have to say I'm skeptical of these charts people pointed me to. I'm also skeptical of the health problem of the fats. I would find it difficult to maintain/extend a natural bodybuilder physique with less meat intake, and the fat in the beef gives me energy that I feel I need for good workouts. If Thrift ate 1.5 lbs. (24 oz.) per day of that steak he'd get 24-36 grams of fat from that. To say that Thrift's diet contains a deadly amount of sat. fat and cholesterol does not sound accurate to me. Amadeus Schmidt <[log in to unmask]> replied: Eating so much saturated fat is a slow suicide. In my humble opinion.
