You probably haven't heard, but Mark Koernke was arrested, subsequently released, and it is another strange story. The last time the black helicopters found him he was somewhat lost near Battle Creek. Well, he really lives in Dexter, Michigan west of Ann Arbor. A couple weeks ago there was a bank robbery in Dexter, and Mark just happened to be coincidentally outside in a car with three other people. Two leaped out, and he took off with ultimately six police cars, and no helicopters, in hot pursuit. He eventually was stopped, and, to everyone's surprise it was Mark Koernke, but he'd had nothing to do with the bank robbery. The actual robbers escaped, thanks to Mark's diversion, and Mark was released. No one knows why he fled the scene, but it is a humorous local story that I thought you all might want to know about. He leads a quiet life now, and I don't tune into his radio station, and I don't know him personally. Just the name triggers a smile and the association with some folks on BP.
