I wanna be there too!
However, at this time I'm acting as caregiver to my seriously injured
sweetheart who's having to recover from calcified lumbar fasetes and about 3
blown discs. It's a 14 =96 16 hour a day job. He's had a recurring bad back for
about 20 years, and he's 57. He's not convinced about paleo and is still
zoning. I respect his preferences and he respects mine. At any rate we've got
that deal going so he may "convert" soon enough when I've regained my health.
I'm definitely going in the right direction! But travel is prohibitive just
now. So I guess I'll have to rely on keeping in touch with my fellow paleos on
the wonderous miracle of the world wide web. As I write, I am cooking down
about 5 lbs. of beef suet, I'll use part and save part for future recipes. I'm
making my first batch of pemmican. It smells GOOD to me. My partner jokingly
said, "You're not going to start eating mammoth fat, are you?" If it were
available I probably would! Question, I'm new at rendering, so I'm not exactly
sure when the fat is ready. Do I wait for the chiterlings to be a brown color
but no smoking?
