Unfortunately, photo-ops for stand-alone outhouses around here are few and
far between. The structures have mostly been consumed in the July 4th
ritual of outhouse burning. Somehow, I've never had the heart or the guts
to read the riot act to a throng of well greased red-necks about the need
to preserve this fast-fading artifact of our historical past. I'll even
admit to throwing a few burning twigs on myself, in my younger days, of
course. Who would have imagined how many outhouses could go up in flames in
just a few short years. We always imagined that the supply was
inexhaustible. Wrong, wrong, wrong! And a lesson in preservation to be
learned, but too late.

I could get you interior shots of a number of inside two-holers.

I think that the web-site project should definitely, and defiantly, move
forward. If there are 4,000,000 startrek sites, there should at least be
one BP site. There ain't nothing studied about our other-worldliness.
