I believe that the urls' are stored in the registry. Try doing a search for the
url that you want to remove.

Someone had asked how to clear the URL's from the drop-down box in
Communicator.

Several respondents have indicated that the easiest way is to click the
"Clear History" button in preferences. Unfortunately, this will NOT do the
trick, at least not as far as I understand the question being asked.

The "clear History" will do just that, it will clear the dialog box that
you get when you go to "Communicator" and click "History". However, I
believe the original question referred to the Drop-Down "Location" box.
This cannot be cleared by selecting "clear history".

I once had a shareware proggie called "Cover Your Tracks" that did clear
the *location box* contents. Whoever asked the original question could
probably check some of the shareware archives and find it.

Cheers,

Michael
