Could we have a moratorium on all this stuff?  I'm Jewish, I support the
Intifada, and I couldn't really give a damn about who lived where 3,000 years
ago, the problem is to find a solution for the people who live there now. It's
nice of Western Christians to offer their advice, usually revealing either
ignorant prejudices,  antisemitism, overt or concealed, or half-remembered Bible
class stories, but frankly - thanks, but no thanks. I could say more, at the
risk of being offensive, like finding it ironic for Americans to lecture others
about stealig land and oppressing other peoples, or of  Western Christians who
persecuted and excluded Jews driving them to Palestine now preaching to the
Palestinians to give up their aspirations for freedom. But enough. The point is,
I can go to meetings and discussions with all sorts of people who know what
they're talking  about on the Middle East, and listen to people who're involved,
because they live there. There are also websites, and online discussions like
Yahoo's Middle East Socialist Network. But I came into this group for objective
information on intelligence and related topics, and to exchange information on
what states and organisations do, not arguments about what to call it.  Next
thing you now we'll be getting reports on Joshua's spies,  and who-smote-who,
and debating Samson's cruelty in attaching incendiary devices to foxes, and his
action (as played by Victor Mature) in bringing down the temple!
