I realize and had previously used tweak ui, however, it DOES NOT disable
autoinsert notification.  It DOES disable the autorun feature.
Nonetheless, the OS still probes all of the cd devices each 5 seconds to
see if new media has been inserted.  This does indeed cause some serious
problems when writing to a CD, such as very unstable buffer activity.  If
anybody knows of a registry adjustment that can be made, I strongly
suspect that this is where the fix lies.
