I can believe that would be the case for Yoga mavens like myself:
Raw+RAF resulted in incredibly low muscle tensions, lower than
Yoga+cooked.
However, I'm not sure the real Hatha Yogis would lose. They talk about
working on "not lowering muscle tension too much" (ex: the late
Swami Gitanada of Pondicherry claimed that if Yogis overdid it,
the body would actually start decaying at extremely low levels
of muscle tension!)
I certainly don't have to worry about this.
By the way, do you know anything about Bruno Comby's "power sleep"?
Unfortunately the book is not available in English.
Thanks!
Roy

LOL...at a memory...Bruno Cromby has this Stressometer thingamajig that
somehow measures you muscle tension. I was told, years ago at the Chateau,
that the instinctos would invite the local yogis over for challanges with
the stressometer and the instinctos almost always won--or so they said. I
know Yoga isn't yogi (actually I don't know much about either) but
anyway...if your instructor takes to it, he may beat everyone on the
stressometer test!!
Cheers,
