I'm the latter, not the former.

Most of those are probably not in print anymore, but you should
first look at www.amazon.com to see if they can get it, check online
catalogs of libraries such as the Library of Congress, or post a
request on the rec.arts.books.marketplace newsgroup.

I enjoyed Rene's anecdote about the rather unique situation where
everybody was on the same diet but their individual constitutions
created all sorts of different diseases.
