Hi Roy,

thanks for all your interesting comments. My own experience differs a little
bit, since I am not a vegetarian and I never had cravings for cooked food, but
we certainly have many common points. A few months ago, I still had regular
binges (at least once a week) to the point that it became difficult to move
afterwards. It's only recently that my condition improved.

I also find that when I practice martial arts, or am busy thinking about a math
problem, or practice any sport, read, etc, I think less about food. I am however
more vulnerable during the week-ends.

So do I. I still eat almost 100% raw, but on a couple of occasions, I was able
to *enjoy* some cooked vegetables, and tried a little bit of soft pretzel.
Formerly, I couldn't eat cooked food without being disturbed, and despite the
fact that I didn't "give in", that attitude contributed to my obsession with
food.

For some time, I used to go shopping every day, and sometimes several times a
day (because some foods were available or cheaper only at one store). Now that I
worry less about quality and buying organic, I go shopping every 2 or 3 days,
usually at the local supermarket, where I buy partly organic and partly organic.

Same thing for me. It was hard for a few weeks (with more than 50% fruit, I was
quite sugar-addicted and was frustrated if I couldn't finish my meal with
something sweet), but now, I got used to it, and I only eat a limited quantity
of fruit _at the beginning_ of the meal.
