All,

Does anyone here know if raw grains are a healthful food to eat?

It is my understanding - intellectually, and also from my own
experience, that cooked grains are harmful.

However, is this also the case to any degree with raw soaked grains?
Would eating raw grains ultimately have more drawbacks than benefits?

Are grains a natural food for us? When considering that grains must be
processed in order to make them edible -- hulled first (tedious work),
then either soaked or cooked, it makes me wonder how "natural" they can
be considered to be in one's diet, at least on a regular basis...

If anyone has any certainty on this subject, I'd like to know. I'm
currently doing an experiment with myself to see how I feel without
using raw soaked grains. I had been using them in moderation - 2-5 oz.
dry weight per day. But now I'll go without them for a while and see how
I feel.

Thanks,

Wes
