Hello Meredith.
I have found that monomeal is best and most satisfying. If you have seen
some of my e-mail, you know that I live mainly and very predominantly on
just fruit. But to get to monomeals has taken me many many years. It is
only during the last 2 years of my 9 years on this diet that I really
enjoyed eating mono. I don't even like fruitsalads much anymore. However,
let me say this to you, Meredith, I have let it be a very natural, self
developing process. I knew that monomeals were best, but I thought I let it
"flow" and come from itself, so I never did anything to enforce a monomeal
rule. As you may know, I advocate a great variety of fruit, whenever
possible, but NOT at one meal, but over a period of time, like within a week
or a month, depending on what is in season also. Now it is just delicious
to eat a pineapple on its own, or a rolinea, or a paw-paw (but sometimes I
love a passionfruit in the pawpaw, which, indeed, takes over the flavor of
the pawpaw) So, I am not really fanatic about monomeals, there are times
that I love a little mix, but not often, mainly mono.
I don't know whether you will get the same satisfaction with vegetables raw.
I can not imagine me sitting in front of a whole cabbage, or cauliflower,
celery, lettuce etc., but I can see and experience the love of a whole
pawpaw, of mangos, of lychees, a sour sop, jakfruit, durian and so on.
So, yes, go mono, but let it be a natural process to get there, years don't
count, really, neither does excess analysis. Come as close as you reasonably
can to nature, like the lion, the deer, the zebra etc, just BE, they don't
analise, they don't eat mixed often, mainly mono also. I wish you a very
happy "food and eating" journey, ENJOY the journey of transfer. Simplicity,
friend. Rene.
