My skin has certainly improved a great deal since I started eating more raw
food. I notice it particularly on my hands, which are much softer and
smoother than they used to be. However, I don't know whether I should put
this down to raw vs. cooked, or simply to the different mix of foods I am
eating now.
One thing that does seem to be important is the amount of fat in the diet.
I don't eat much meat or fish at the moment, but I usually have about half
an avocado a day. If I omit that for a week or two, I find that my skin
starts to get drier again and improves when I again eat avocadoes.
I also feel that my fingernails are stronger now, and that my hair is
healthier and doesn't need washing as much.
Regards,
Barbara
