Well, frothy urine is not totally normal, nor is it usually a concern. What
this means is that there is something in the urine. It is common with men
after sex, or with anything that washes out with the urine. Another thing is
spill over of protiens into the urine. This occurs with pathology, and sugars
which can spill over in the urine might cause some frothyness. Is it perfectly
normal, no. But I think most of us notice some foaming of urine at times. I
tend to notice it after a high protien meal, or over stress of some sort. If
it is constant might be worth asking your doc about. Once in a while and you
are probably spilling something over in your urine, and might want to think
about the cause. It really isnt normal, but it not always a big deal.
Constantly it is of concern can be infection, or kidney disease.

thanks

Jerry
