By raising the kids in a rural setting, homeschooling them, and having the
entire family in on the same radical all raw diet, the enterprise was not
too much of a problem for us.

On the other hand, if you are in a more average or normal situation
(regular school, etc. and living in a suburban or urban place), I suspect
it might be quite a challenge.

My son began life all raw, even though his sister, mother and father were
not.  I knew it was the most sensible dietary, but was too addicted to the
cooked gourmet veggie stuff we had evolved to enjoy before he was born.  We
all finally went 100%  raw four years later.  It was much easier once we
were all in the same league together.

But, at least it can be done.  A family was at the raw food potluck just
last Saturday here in the San Diego area that might be a useful
inspiration.  The father and mother made the big step before their last
child was born, I believe, so he's the only one that's been all raw his
entire life. But their other three children (I think that's how many they
had in addition to the little tyke)
are now all raw, too.  The kids were really radiantly healthy looking.
Hope one of the parents gets on this raw list.  They'd be a lot of help,
I'm sure, since they're presently in the thick of it (they're all from
Germany, by the way).
