I agree with Peter. Humans consumed raw milk products for
millennia, & it is only in the past 100 years that anybody developed
heart disease, so it is not the milk. Speculation has centered on
chlorination of the water supply, refining of grains, &
pastuerization/homogenization of milk. All 3 probably are to blame,
but raw milk is not going to trash your arteries. The reason it is
called hardening of the arteries is that calcium is bound up in the
plaque complex, as is cholesterol. Both are vital for life, (&
cholesterol production in the body will increase if you are not
getting enough in your diet), & the disease process which causes
them to screw up & start clogging arteries has more complex
causes than it might first appear.
