Very interesting re: the pesticide effect of avocado leaves.

Unfortunately, not everyone lives in the tropics and has access to this.

Hot peppers blended and diluted with water and then sprayed on plants is
reputedly a healthy alternative.

Someone I talked with just recently said he uses this mixture with garlic
blended in, as well, with good results.
