State and Defense Department officials seem to be convinced of this, and
it seems leaders in and around Afghanistan do too. But it doesn't really
matter if he did or did not. Bin Laden, his top cohorts, and other
radical fundamentalist muslims have stated openly that even if they did
not do this, they would have if they could, and they are happy that it
was done. And  they have assured us that there will be more. Of course
they are not foolish enough to say "yes, we are responsible."  But it is
clear that they funded, or organized, or will organize, or are in other
ways complicitors, in a long-range plan of terror, that they are part of
a vast web of people who hate me, you, and as Bin Laden said yesterday,
every  Christian and Jew on earth. Or, more accurately, every human who
is not a fundamentalist radical muslim. And that they want to wipe us
off the face of the earth.

That is a problem

Yes I agree, they are. Many are here in the United States, where they
have the freedom to operate.


Martha:

Liza:
The "Bush Administrators" are us, we elected him as our representative.

Bin Laden is being sheltered and protected by the Taliban. Bin Laden is
a human missile aimed at the United States. Several human missiles have
already been fired at us, killing 7,000 of our people.

Martha:

You do not want to protect Ireland from Islamic terrorist attacks? Why,
Martha? Why would you leave your people open to violent attacks? Why
would you knowingly allow people you love to be killed by terrorists?
This does not make sense to me.

Martha:

It is certainly more than pagentry. I don't think you understand the
language of the man's world, or the language of war. War is at least as
much about psychology as it is about tactical maneuvers.

Martha:

????!!!
Afghanistan is NOT a "developing" country! Or if it is, it is developing
into something unimaginably monstrous. I don't think you know much about
Afghanistan. The current regime, the Taliban, murdered, raped, and
tyrannized 50,000 of their own people on their way to power just five
years ago. 50,000 muslims were slaughtered, with mass rapes. And the
Pakistani neighbors are even more afraid of those the Taliban defeated
than the Taliban itself - they are afraid that if the Taliban collapses
they will be massacred by the monsters who take their place. This is not
a "developing country" moving happily along "at its own pace."

Let me ask you a question. I hope you will try to answer thoughtfully
and honestly.

Would you like to live in Afghanistan? Under the conditions I've
described above, which have existed now for many centuries? And don't
forget that as a woman, you would have to keep yourself completely
covered, except for your eyes. And not speak much. And you would only be
permitted to read the Koran, no other books. And you might very well
starve to death or die of disease without doctors or hospitals. And you
would either be a devout radical fundamentalist Muslim, or be killed.
And you most certainly would be raped, many times. Can you tell me that
you would like to live there Martha?
