Hi,

If your tooth a a dark or silvered colored filling, it is probably
filled with a mixture named amalgam.  All amalgam contains both silver
and mercury, as far as I know.  Not all amalgam "leaks" mercury, but as
amalgam ages, they generally all start deteriorating and losing
mercury.  Guess where it goes..
