I don't know about holistic/raw foods dentists, but the Huggins Diagnostic
Center has a toll-free number to help you find a dentist in your area that
does amalgam removal and replacement with less harmful materials. I know
this isn't what you're looking for, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that most
of the dentists wise enough to see the folly in mercury also see the good
sense in holism. The dentist I see in Vancouver, B.C. shares his office (&
his patients) with a Homeopath. The defining moment when I knew I had found
the right dentist was when, after going over all the work that would likely
need to be done, he asked, "So Stuart, why do you think you're getting such
severe decay?" .. and then we talked about all the factors influencing same.
Every other dentist just showed me the bill and started filling.

My dentist (he may be able to recommend someone) is Dr. Peter Brawn @
1-604-299-7252.

The Huggins Center is @ 1-800-331-2303. (Dr. Hal Huggins is a well-known
dentist who researched the poisonous effects of mercury when used as a
restorative material for dental work)

Good luck.

Just an aside - I found Dr. Brawn by looking in the Yellow Pages! :) I was
flipping the pages, thinking, "How on earth am I supposed to find a dentist
who won't use amalgam and flouride?" and wandering among identical adverts
for local dentists. I suddenly noticed a simple ad on one page with only
the name, ph#, an ornate illustration of the sun and a quote from
Shakespeare: "Health is beauty. And the most perfect health is the most
perfect Beauty." While this in itself is by no means a guarantee of
ability or legitimacy, it demonstrated that he was a breed apart from the
other dentists listed.

Again, good luck.
