Sandy, there is much debate whether raw dairy, eggs, and meat are good for
you. I know of only a few raw vegans with more than 10 years of being true
to the diet. I also know a few "vegans," who have suggested that a raw egg
in a fresh fruit smoothie is beneficial at times.

I have talked to many of the raw eaters, who suggest that the transition to
a raw vegan diet can be difficult. If your energy feels low, if you are
experiencing mood swings, or if your skin is dry, you may benefit from
adding RAF to your diet.

At one point in my raw experimentation, I was having 4 to 7oz of flax seed
oil a day, with out the benefits that I get from a few oz of raw dairy fat
(butter when I can get it or cream from my milk). I know that the raw dairy
in my diet has helped both my skin, hair, attitude immensely.

I have been experimenting with several different foods and at this time I
believe it is the raw eggs which I usually have in the morning, that have
increased my stamina and may be working with blood sugar balancing. If I
have a raw egg, milk, and honey smoothie in the morning, I have a lot more
energy throughout the day. I also think the raw fish in my diet has
increased my mental clarity. Raw beef, lamb, and buffalo feel regenerative
for my muscle tone. I have found that when I accompany raw meat with
Parsley the acidic effects are minimized.

I would suggest you go slowly, so you can see what individual changes set
off which benefits for you. I would also recommend that you get the highest
quality that you can for each of the RAFs that you add to your diet.
