URGENT: IRRADIATION LABELING IN JEOPARDY!

The FDA may remove labeling requirements for irradiated food. They have
approved irradiation for essentially all foods, including meats, fruits
and vegetables. Without labeling, there will be no way for you to know
if your food has been irradiated.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. IMPORTANT: First, please see FDA's list of questions. Go to:

2. WRITE FDA
Send written letters (preferred) to:

Dockets Management
Branch (HFA-305)
Food and Drug Administration
5630 Fishers Lane, Rm. 1061
Rockville, MD 20852

Refer to Docket #98N-1038, "Irradiation in the production, processing
and handling of food".

3. EMAIL FDA
