Yes, that is pretty spotty, to say the best. People have been working
on computer based translations since after to World War II; I recall
that the quick-sort algorithm in computer science was developed by a group
of Russians working on language translations in the 1950's. Looks
like we still have quite a ways to go.

I'm curious - are there any raw lists which are available in
languages other than English ?
