I wanted to provide an update on the ongoing "Essential Advice" series
of posts/SF-LiFE newsletter articles, and other activities.

I have taken the "Idealism vs. Realism" post, and combined it with its
Supplement post, into a single, multi-section article. After discussing
the matter with a number of people, I have decided to make the article a
part of the "Essential Advice" series. I will eventually post that. There
are a number of minor changes to make the post more accessible to idealists.
Those who save my longer posts might want to save this version also.

New parts of the "Essential Advice" series are in the works. These new
parts take a broad view of raw foods diets, and are more concerned with
the "why?" rather than the "how?" aspects of such diets. I am fairly
busy on other tasks now, and have much less time to spend on this effort.
So, it may be a while (some weeks) before any new parts are posted.

I hope you find that at least some parts of the "Essential Advice" series
are of interest.

Essential Advice series:
Part 1: Information Sources (posted)
Part 2: Myths of Raw foods (posted)
Part 3: Idealism vs. Realism (early versions posted, latest version to
                                be posted eventually)

Parts 4+ are being worked on now, at a low priority.

Although I mentioned it above, it is worth repeating: I am busy on a number
of projects now and for the next few months. I expect to have less time for
posting. So, my posting rate will decrease for a while. I still have some
of my old archives to sort through, so may at some point, start reposting
some "oldies but goodies" from that effort.

Regards,
Tom Billings
