you can subscribe to veg-raw, if you wish, as follows (from an old
SF-LiFE newsletter):

RAW AND LIVING FOODS ON INTERNET: E-MAIL LISTS

If you have an e-mail account, you should know that there are a number of
e-mail lists for raw/living fooders. E-mail lists provide a forum for raw-fooders
to discuss topics of interest on Internet. The only two lists I recommend are:
raw-food and veg-raw.

...outdated info on raw-food list deleted...

The veg-raw list is similar, but discussions there are limited to vegetarian
topics. It is also a moderated list. Volume on veg-raw is, at present (May
97), much lower than on the raw-food list. To subscribe to veg-raw, send e-mail
to [log in to unmask], with the content (not subject line):

subscribe veg-raw <your_e-mail_address>

The above e-mail lists can be a very valuable resource for information. I
suggest you give them a try!

A few comments:

veg-raw - generally low-volume list; a few messages per week typically

Other lists:

living-foods: for all practical purposes, shut-down/not operational at
present (the bulletin board at http://www.living-foods.com, serves the
same function as a mailing list - fairly active, as well)

raw: high volume list, but the content is often idealistic. If you
join this one, get the digest, and you may need a large e-mail queue
(over 100K) as well.

The Forum: a one-word opinion: bizarre. :-)

Non-vegetarian lists: live-food, and 2 Paleo lists.

You can join any/all of the above via the e-mail section of:
http://www.rawtimes.com

Tom Billings
