James and Sandy,
Noted authority Virginia Vetrano doesn't seem to think a high fat diet is
a problem, so long as it's fresh, raw, high quality fat, such as from
nuts or avos. She says you'll live just as long and healthfully on a
high fat diet as a low fat diet, provided you're not overeating, of
course. I don't know where she gets this data, but I have a lot of
respect for her opinions.
BTW, it may not be a case of not getting enough calories, but of not
having the digestive capability of fully utilizing the calories you are
getting. That's where a digestive rest (fast) could come in handy.
James, your one-month raw experience reminds me of how I felt for the
first 5 months, but I did get over it.
