Rene,

When I go to potlucks, I frequently bring a whole watermelon as my
contribution, for 3 reasons:
	(1) It's easy to "prepare,"
	(2) It's usually appreciated, and
	(3) It's something I too can eat (often the *only* thing at a
potluck I would consider edible.
Well, whenever I bring the watermelon to a picnic that includes children,
my watermelon and I become very popular with the little ones. They'll
eat as much as I can cut up for them until their parents pull them away
with scolding remarks like, "OK, you've had enough of that. You're going
to spoil your appetite!"
