You are somewhat incoherent here. On the one hand, you seem to find
important to prove that gorillas are vegans (which is controversial, to
say the least); on the other hand, you say that it's not important, that
humans are different.

Yes, I agree that humans are different. In my opinion, studies about human
evolution (cf. Ward's interview or the Paleodiet list archives)
consistently show that humans eat much more animal food than apes.

... And you believe him?? Monkeys like chimpanzees are "cousins" of
humans. Humans are not ancestors of chimps, and chimps are not ancestors
of humans.

Neither do I. Disease, birth defects, social exclusions, rapes, incests,
murders exist in nature, among wild animals.

You can't judge if this assertion is true without defining clearly what
"degenerated" means. Saying that a species is "degenerate" because it eats
meat is not a definition because your reasoning then becomes circular.

The only thing I see is that carnivores (lions, eagles, etc) often have
remarkable physical abilities, and a larger brain than herbivores. I don't
call that a degeneration.

Best wishes,

Jean-Louis
