Misc. questions about dried figs:

1] What are the temperatures used for ordinary dried figs?

2] Does someone have an idea of the core temperature that sun-dried
figs can reach (the figs I find in France come from Turkey, which can
be rather hot in summer).

3] Are "dried in the tree" figs "safe"? Are they dried naturally or
are artificial methods used?
