Actually, I just found a copy of Hippocrates News (neswletter for
Hippocrates Institue), Volume 14, Number 1. It has an "Epilog for
Dr. Ann Wigmore", where Brian Clement speaks briefly on her life
as he knew her, and her death. It stated that she died on February,
16 1994. Here is Brian's depiction of her passing:

"On February 17, I received a call from a Boston TV Station asking
me the particulars about Ann's life. When I quizzed on why they
were calling, they said that Ann had passed away in a fire the night
before. Later I spoke to the fire marshal who said he believed she
was up in the early morning preparing herbal tea when the teapot set
the walls of the Victorian House on fire. In her typical fashion,
Ann proceeded to attempt to extinguish the fire with buckets of
water she took from her bathtub. The smoke overwhelmed her and she
went without pain Victoras Kulvinskas, the co-founder of Hippocrates
Health Institute and I reflected on the irony how fire took the
life of a lady who taught people not to cook."

I believe that Ann was 85 when she passed on.

Regards,

David
