For me it is. Given the fact, that all animals were wild in paleolithic
times, their muscle meat was containing very little fat. Paleolithic
hunter-gatherers went for the fatty parts of the animal. I think, that
an ancient instinctive eater must have gotten a hard stop on the muscle
meat. So the only chance to use it for nutrition would have been light
cooking (in times of scarcity of course).
