Thanks for typing that up, Peter. Incredible.

Ben:
I'm a bit offended because it seems to me that the NFL
>folks have made a generous earning from rehashing (or, more correctly,
>plagiarizing) the works of someone else.

They have always been fuzzy about how they got into raw. Claimed they never
heard of TC Fry or Shelton or Ehret until much later. I guess the mystery
is now solved. Was it the infamous Colonel Barkley who hit them over the
head with Hovannessian's manuscript? Southern CA spans another cult, live
and in color.

After denying the whole of evolution to sidestep human ancestry, I suspect
they will forward some sort of theory that the printing press was a hoax
and they were simply scribes in the service of the Creator ;) Trouble is I
don't think they will be able to find anyone who already published on the
printing press/scribe hoax so they won't be able to plagerize...;)

Cheers,
Kirt

jr ellis booted me from the "raw" list a while back so I can't crosspost
the information. Indeed, the other list is NFL's "home" and the info would
be more meaningful there. Perhaps someone who is also subbed to "raw" could
crosspost Peter's post (after getting permission, of course). How about it,
"Vicki Dorn"?
