The first SF-LiFE (San Francisco Living Foods Enthusiasts) raw recipe book,
"SF-LiFE's Favorite Potluck Recipes", is effectively sold out (there may
be 2-3 copies left - if that many). Anyway, we plan to reissue that book,
with a few changes:
* editorial changes so recipe formats are more uniform
* will probably switch to a spiral binding so we can sell it in health food
stores
* add graphics so it does not look so "plain".
The above comes from discussions with the recipe book editor (Robin
Silberman) and Dorleen Tong, the head of SF-LiFE.
Making the above changes will delay the availability of the reprint of the
first recipe book. It may be several weeks (a few months) before a new
printing is available. The price (was $6) may increase due to changing to
a spiral binding - to be determined. (I would also mention here that the
recipe book is sold at near cost - there us practically no profit on sales
of the recipe book.)
We also have sufficient new recipes to do a second raw recipe book - a
second volume. We are currently looking for volunteers to work on that
task.
I wanted to put this out on the net, so folks will know why the recipe
book will not be available for a while. It sold well, and we definitely
will reprint it, and make the reprinting better than the first. Hopefully
we will have a second recipe book available later this year, as well...
