Hi,

recently there was a lot of discussion here about the danger of high
fruit comsumption. In this context I find the Dr. Bass - Dr. Cursio
interview from Chet Day's homepage
(http://members.GNN.COM/chetday/gen3.htm) very interesting. Dr. Cursio
was the physician of NH families over several generations. After
long-time fruit-nuts diet many of them developed deficiencies, tooth
problems, new-born childs had birth defects etc. Dr. Cursion claimed
to have overcome these difficulties by (besides reducing fruit intake)
giving raw egg yolks, raw cottage cheese for a time and blended salads
with lots of greens in it. He states that blending improves absorption
about five times!
Has anybody experiences with blended salads? What to put it in which
amounts and when to eat? What about the sodium/potassium ratio
Dr. Cursio considers important?
I were on 100% raw for the last 2 1/2 years and got similar
problems. So I'd like to try these salads.

Best regards

Christian
